Debonair Dogs

Apologies for my lack of posts lately, between working and planning a family wedding we’ve also just got ourselves a lovely little pup.

Meet Fletcher- now 4 months old and with more Instagram followers than me he certainly is a cutie.

Nobody can deny we are a huge nation of animal lovers, so it’s no surprise that many of us include our four legged friends in our wedding days. A floral crown on your golden retriever or bowtie on your spaniel makes them into a dapper dog for the day.

I can’t wait for the day that I get to plan a wedding that involves animals, and just to be prepared I’ve been looking at outfits..

Not so far away in Surrey are Cupid Collars who specialise in beautiful silk flower dog collars and matching leads specifically for Weddings. They look amazing and come in a huge range of colours, depending on the size they range from £20-£40.

Canine & Co do a large range of dog wedding attire but my favourite is this Tuxedo, it could smarten up the scruffiest of pups and won’t break the bank either at prices starting from £22.

Four Legged Fancies do a huge range of bow ties and ties in lots of different fabrics and colours, perfect to find a matching one for any wedding. This simple version of a tuxedo starts from £3.50- what an absolute bargain.

Maybe you’d prefer your hound to wear some simple guest attire. In which case this Pink and White Polkadot Dress from Pettecoats Boutique would be perfect.

So there we are, just a small selection of what the UK has to offer. Now there’s no more excuses for not having your furry best friend at your wedding!
